The armchair is so beautiful. Thank you very much. I will use you again. I have a double lounge that requires attention when we move.

Margarita Sampson works predominantly in soft sculpture & contemporary jewellery. Her work is strongly influenced by her Norfolk Island background, referencing natural forms, patterns & textures, in particular underwater life forms. Margarita approached David to assist her to apply her design to the frame. The design and sewing was done by Margie. David could see where Margie wanted to go with the design and helped her to achieve her creative masterpiece which is in the finals competing for the Waterhouse Prize at the South Australian Museum.

As Margie put it:

” i had to find just the right upholsterer to work on such an unusual project, one who could bring their own skills and imagination to the table. It was a pleasure to work with David, and I\’d bring future work to him without any hesitation. He is meticulous, inventive and he has a real passion for his work. I was delighted by the final result and look forward to future collaborations.”
